  • The Sales Support Representative (SSR) will be responsible for managing the quoting activity of an assigned list of accounts.
  • Work with Account Manager and Pre-Sales teams to obtain necessary information to build customer facing quotes.
  • Work with Distribution and Manufacturing Vendors to obtain pricing for quoting process.
  • Follow the published SSR process flow and meet all established SLAs.
  • Utilizes CRM and other tools to build customer facing quotes.
  • Work with Order Fulfillment Team to insure clean handoff of POs.
  • Escalate issues outside of the SSR Process Flow to Sales Operations Manager.
  • Responsibilities:

  • Comply with Published SSR Processes and SLAs.
  • Work in CRM tool to create customer facing quotes.
  • Deliver final quotes to Account Manager for final review and distribution to customer.
  • Work with AM to build and maintaining high customer satisfaction through:
      • Timely communication
      • Regular updates
      • Accurate quotes
  • The SSR will be required to work independently with minimal supervision and will need to manage internal and external resources in order to deliver on customer requirements.
  • Work with AM, Order Fulfillment, and Finance to process RMA requests.
  • Ensure that all opportunities are accurate and up to date.
  • Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources.
  • Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
  • Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Proficient computer skills including email, file management, word processing, spreadsheet, etc.
  • Ability to Prioritize, organize, and delegate assignments.

  • Education and Experience Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent related experience (minimum).
  • 4 Years of inside account management experience in a technology field and knowledge of distribution channel experience or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools.
  • Must be resourceful and creative to ensure goals are met.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task with excellent priority time management skills for changing priorities.
  • Results-oriented, self-starter who takes ownership of tasks.
  • Collaborative team player focused on achieving goals.
  • Ability to handle pressure in a professional manner.
